Forsyth Fire Station 1 is located at 15405 US Highway 160, adjacent to City Hall, near the center of town. Built-in 1996, it houses an engine, a ladder truck, and a Tender, with the Fire Chief’s Offices located here; this is considered to be the headquarters.

Station 1 Apparatus Use
Engine 1 (Primary Engine)
Handles house/building fires, vehicle fires, M.V.C., and initial attack. Carries hose, water, rescue equipment, and foam for fire suppression.
UTV 1 (Utility Terrain Vehicle)
Used for off-road access—brush fires, search & rescue, medical calls in rough terrain, or events where a full-size truck can’t go.
Truck 1 (Platform/Aerial)
Used for aerial operations. Provides elevated master stream for large fires, roof access, ventilation, and rescue from upper floors.
Chief 1 (Command Vehicle)
Primary incident command unit. Used by the fire chief to respond, size-up incidents, and manage operations.
Chief 2 (Command/Support Vehicle)
Secondary command unit. Assists with incident management, safety, and coordination.
